Just a quick note for those of you who swing by here every now and then...Merry Christmas!And to celebrate the season, I'll share this year's picture of my daughter with 'ol St. Nick.

The funny story behind this year's Santa picture is that my little girl would have absolutely nothing to do with him. She refused to get near him for a solid 10 minutes...even with candy canes and presents as motivation. It just wasn't going to happen. We have used the same local photographer and Santa for the past 3 years and they came through for us yet again. Since my girl wouldn't go near Santa, the photographer took a picture of her sitting on my lap, then one of Santa sitting by himself and then digitally pasted her into his lap. There are a few give-aways in the pic, but overall I'm happy with it. :-D

And here's the real picture of me and my little peanut...I think it's my favorite.
